First Report of Oleander Hawkmoth, Daphnis nerii (Lepidoptera: Sphingidae) Feeding on Alstonia scholaris (Apocynaceae) from India
ABSTRACT Alstonia scholaris (L.) R.Br. is reported as host plant for various arthropods, including various Lepidoptera species. In this present paper, Alstonia scholaris (L.) R.Br. is presented as a new host plant for Oleander Hawkmoth, Daphnis nerii (Linnaeus, 1758) for the first time from India. In addition, a list of other host plants associated with this moth species from India are also enlisted in this paper.

Contributions are accepted on any of the aspects of systematics and taxonomy of insects. This includes: taxonomic revisions, phylogenetics, biogeography and faunistics, and descriptive morphology of insects. Taxonomic papers describing single species are acceptable if such a study is sufficiently justified, however, comprehensive studies that provide a comparative, integrated study of insect systematics and taxonomy will get priority.
