Badminton is a net-resistant sport that requires very strict requirements for body, technology, wisdom, etc., and the standardization of technical actions is also quite high. Therefore, multimedia video or image courses optimized by the Heap sort algorithm can be used. As an auxiliary means to enhance the teaching effect. This article investigated 48 students’ interest in learning badminton in college badminton optional courses. 50% of the students are interested in playing badminton, 29.17% of the students are generally interested in playing badminton, and 20.83% of the students are not interested in playing badminton.
