Extriangulated categories were introduced by Nakaoka and Palu via extracting the similarities between exact categories and triangulated categories. In this article we introduce the notion of [Formula: see text]-tilting objects in an extriangulated category, where [Formula: see text] is a proper class of [Formula: see text]-triangles. Algebra Colloquium is an international mathematical journal founded at the beginning of 1994.
