ABOUT THE PARALLELS OF THE TOPONYMS OF AZERBAIJAN-TURKISH ORIGIN IN EASTERN EUROPE AND SIBERIA

Azər­bay­can Res­pub­li­ka­sı əra­zi­si­nin coğ­ra­fi möv­qe­yi, əra­zi­si­nin rel­ye­fi, uni­kal tə­bii şə­rai­ti və tə­bii sər­vət­lə­ri zən­gin ol­du­ğu ki­mi to­po­nim­lər­lə­də zən­gin­li­yi­nə gö­rə fərq­lə­nir. Mə­qa­lə­nin məq­sə­di Azər­bay­can­da möv­cud olan bə­zi to­po­nim­lə­rin yer­ləş­di­yi əra­zi­lə­ri mü­əy­yən et­mək, on­la­rın iz­lə­ri­ni təd­qiq et­mək­dir. Azər­bay­can əra­zi­si ta­ri­xən bir çox tay­fa­la­rın və xalq­la­rın diq­qə­ti­ni cəlb et­miş­dir. Odur ki, türk­dil­li tay­fa­la­rın və xalq­la­rın Azər­bay­can əra­zi­si­nə həm şi­mal­dan, həm də şərq­dən axı­nı ta­rix­dən mə­lum­dur. Azər­bay­can əra­zi­sin­də olan coğ­ra­fi ad­la­rın pa­ra­lel­lə­ri Si­bir və Or­ta Asi­ya əra­zi­lə­rin­də da­ha ge­niş ya­yıl­ma­sı diq­qə­ti cəlb edir. Bu ba­xım­dan Şər­qi Av­ro­pa, Si­bir və qon­şu əra­zi­lər­də türk mən­şə­li to­po­nim­lə­ri təd­qiq edər­kən on­la­rın əra­zi­lə­ri­nin mü­əy­yən edil­mə­si onu de­mə­yə im­kan ve­rir ki, qə­dim türk mən­şə­li xalq­la­rın ay­rı-ay­rı tay­fa və qol­la­rı ara­sın­da baş ve­rən bas­qın­lar və dö­yüş­lər nə­ti­cə­sin­də on­la­rın güc­lü miq­ra­si­ya­sı şərq­dən qər­bə doğ­ru baş ve­rir. The geographical position of the ter­ritory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, its relief, uni­que natural conditions, and rich natural resources are distinguished by the richness of toponyms. The purpose of the article is to identify the areas where some toponyms are located in Azerbaijan and to study their traces. The territory of Azerbaijan has historically attracted the attention of many tribes and peoples. Therefore, the flow of Turkic-spe­aking tribes and peoples to the territory of Azer­baijan both from the north and from the east is known from history. Parallels of geographic names in the territory of Azerbaijan are more widespread in the territories of Siberia and Central Asia. From this point of view, when studying toponyms of Turkic origin in Eastern Europe, Siberia, and neighboring areas, the identification of their territories allows us to say that their strong migration from the East to the West took place as a result of the battles between the separate tribes of peoples of ancient Turkic origin.
