When the foaming method was applied to the water-based slurry, the hydrophilic-lipophilic balance of the nonionic surfactant used was about 11-14.5, indicating that the foam was stable during preparation. Furthermore, it was shown that the addition of CNF-P promoted the formation of both micron-sized pores and macro-sized pores (100-400 μm).
