INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATION: THE EUROPEAN CONTEXT

The article examines the general theory and European practice of international integration. The modern context of the European integration of Ukraine is revealed. It is noted that the full-scale military aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine in 2022 makes the process of European integration of the Ukrainian state irreversible. Putin's autocratic fascist regime, established in Russia, is attacking the young Ukrainian democracy, due to which a bloody dividing line is emerging between European civilization (Ukraine plays the role of an outpost) and Eurasianism (current territories of the Russian Federation). International integration is a world-historical, world unifying, objective historical process. The object of this process is human society. The elements of the integration complex are the subjects of interstate relations - national states. Integration has several levels of its development. The main importance is the interaction at the level of enterprises and organizations - direct producers of goods and services. It is here that integration ties arise in the main spheres of reproduction, structural restructuring of national economies is carried out, which leads to their mutual complementation and interweaving. It is concluded that the European Union represents one of the most successful and grandiose projects of long-term international integration in recent human history. This project will be completed only when Ukraine joins it as a full member, which defends European civilizational values with arms in hand in a fierce battle with Eurasian Russian barbarians.
