We analysed the differences between groups regarding the need for admission in intensive care unit for mechanical ventilation or mortality during admission, or mortality during admission or in the next 6 months.</p><p><strong>Results: </strong>The factors that were associated with a worse prognosis both in acute phase and in the next 6 months were age, male gender, obesity and oncologic disease.
