However, the common TCP/IP model is not suitable enough for metaverse networks. To this end, we explore a preliminary frame of revised TCP/IP model. At first, a new layer called metaverse layer is defined. And then, this layer is placed as the top layer, i.e., the upper of the application layer in TCP/IP model. As a result, a novel network model having the six layers is obtained. Our simulated experiments indicate the feasibility of the new model.
