PT PB Tbk. is a company engaged in garment industry  producing apparel. One of the  products is long pants, there are 137 work elements which are divided into 4 work stations, where each work element consists of 1 operator. During production process, unbalance workload problems often occur such as a lot of idle time for some operatorsand overload for other operators. Based on this issue, it is necessary to recalculate the number of work stations and distribute the workload to avoid excessive idle time so that work can be more effective and efficient. One way to overcome this problem is applying line balancing method, with the aim that implementation of this line  balancing method may  achieve  optimal results and each work station works effectively and has maximum work efficiency. 摘要

生产线平衡是指将若干工作分配到一条生产线上相互连接的工作站。PT PB Tbk。是一家从事服装行业生产服装的公司。其中一种产品是长裤,共有137个工位,分为4个工位,每个工位由1名操作员组成。在生产过程中,经常会出现一些作业者空闲时间过多,而另一些作业者超负荷等工作量不平衡问题。基于这个问题,有必要重新计算工位的数量,分配工作量,避免过多的闲置时间,使工作更加有效和高效。解决这一问题的一种方法是采用线路平衡法,使线路平衡法的实施达到最优效果,使各工位工作有效,工作效率达到最大。这项研究的结果表明,增加了4至57个工作站,但工作量有所调整。关键词:线路平衡,工作站,瓶颈,工作要素,效率
