The research objective of this study was to describe the knowledge, mitigation efforts, and students' adaptation to drought at Madrasah Aliyah Pondok Pesantren Walisongo, Pontianak City. The method in this research is mixed methods sequential explanatory. Data sources include primary data and secondary data. This research was conducted based on questionnaires, literature review related to disaster mitigation education, and in-depth interviews. The research subject involved 100 students and MAS Walisongo geography teachers located in Pontianak Kota District, Pontianak City, West Kalimantan Province. The validation used in this research is triangulation validation. To avoid data doubts, this research uses triangulation techniques. Data analysis in this study uses an interactive model. The results of the study show that the analysis of drought mitigation education studies on Madrasah Aliyah students at the Walisongo Islamic Boarding School, Pontianak City, needs to be improved. Disaster mitigation education, especially drought inserted in geography subjects in an appropriate way can provide students with knowledge and skills.
