Soybean oil is used directly in food and preventing high blood pressure caused by arteriosclerosis. It also contains lot of the essential vitamins for the body. Soybean cultivation in India started in 1976. Soybean production in India has increased to about 966 ha. Yield levels have stabilized at about 2895 metric ton per hectare.
