Scientific novelty lies in the substantiation of the pedagogical possibilities of training in the development of social intelligence among students. It has been established that training contributes to self-correction and self-knowledge of the individual, the development of communicative flexibility and competence, and the prevention of emotional burnout of social work specialists. The results of the study are the characteristics of the training for the development of social intelligence in future bachelors of social work. It included five main areas of work with students: 1) development of communicative competence; 2) overcoming social fears and barriers; 3) formation of positive thinking; 4) development of adequate self-esteem; 5) the formation of confidence in conflicts. The effectiveness of the training was proved by the results of the control diagnostics, which showed a significant change in the levels of social intelligence in the students of the experimental group compared to the control group. Pedagogical possibilities of training in the development of social intelligence in future bachelors of social work
