The adsorption kinetics of the Fe (II) ions onto the CASD was studied using pseudo-first order, pseudo-second order and second order kinetics equations. Result shows that the optimum pH for Fe (II) adsorption onto the CASD was found to be 4 and the adsorption efficiency was found to be about 99 % and the maximum adsorption capacity was found to be 116 mg/g.
