This research includes qualitative, interpretive, and literature. The source of this research data comes from the literature related to the object of study, in the form of books and journals that are used as primary sources. The data collection method used is collecting and analyzing various documents carried out by bibliographic annotation techniques and literature review. Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengetahui konsep dasar Kurikulum 2013, filsafat esensialisme dan sumbangan esensialisme dalam implementasi Kurikulum 2013.Penelitian ini termasuk kualitatif, interpretif, dan kepustakaan.
