LCL-filters placed on the existing voltage source converters can improve the microgrid power quality, reducing the harmonic pollution in it. This paper applies a design procedure of LCL-filters and the control adjustments on voltage source converters to reduce the harmonic current injected to levels accepted by the IEEE Std 1547–2003.
