Fault location in passive optical networks using T-OTDR and wavelength-selective isolators
We present a new method for fault location in passive optical networks by employing a tunable OTDR and wavelength-selective isolators in the remote node. A proof-of-principle experiment is performed, demonstrating the feasibility of the technique.
