Temperature pattern control within a monopole array used for interstitial microwave hyperthermia
Interstitial microwave hyperthermia has been used for the treatment of small-size liver tumors. Different liver tumors of various shapes and sizes have been treated by using monopole arrays with different temperature patterns.
