The proposed regulator is a new technique to build up a new improved PI regulator with tunable gains by using a fuzzy logic supervisor. Its main attribute is to regulate in real time its gains to exceed the impact of the fluctuations of the stator resistance. The improved direct torque control has been simulated and experimentally implemented.
