The methodical procedure is relevant to psychodiagnostic tasks of the psychologist of the educational system. In the construction of the diagnostic conversation the authors proceeded from the theoretical positions of L. S. Vygotsky, D.B. Elkonin et al., considering the psychological content of the crisis age through the prism of its components, as the social situation of development, leading activities and age-related psychological tumors. The authors associate the successful living of the crisis of seven years with age-related psychological neoplasms in the sphere of the child's self-consciousness. The conversation is carried out using the elements of materialization that help the child, based on a schematic representation, to express attitude to the success of performing other types of activities presented in the plot pictures.
