In order to analyze the regulation performance accurately and the effect of different regulation modes on system stability under small disturbance, the corresponding state equations are built according to different governor model for a given single-pipe and single-unit hydropower station, eigenvalue analysis is investigated and further dynamic process under small load disturbance is computed for further comparative analysis of regulation performance analysis.
