: This research is a development research that aims to describe the validity of an authentic performance-based assessment tool on ruminant livestock waste handling materials so that it can be used in the learning process to support the skills of students. The type of research carried out is a type of development research using the development and validation method, which was modified by Sugiyono (2020). This method explains how researchers can measure valid learning tools. Learning tools that are suitable for use have gone through the assessment stage by expert validators, learning tools that have been validated are Lesson plan, student worksheet and Authentic Assessment Instruments by expert validators and user validators. The results showed that the quality of the product produced based on the assessment of the aspects of the validity of the Lesson plan met the very valid criteria with an average value of the validator of 98.33%, the student worksheet met the very valid criteria with the average value of the validator of 95.45% and the Authentic Instrument Assessment meet the very valid criteria with an average value of 96.25% from the validator. This value is based on the validation assessment category, is in the score range of 81% -100%, is in the very valid criteria.
