Filtering behavior of iterated symmetric weighted threshold filters for bounded sequences
The symmetric weighted threshold filters is a generalization of rank order filters. In this paper, we study filtering behavior of iterated symmetric weighted threshold filters for bounded sequences and prove that iterated sequences with even index as well as iterated sequences with odd index both converge, and these limiting sequences are either roots of these filters or their recurrent sequences.
