Thermodynamical behaviour of type-II superconductors with small K near the lower critical field
The interaction between well-separated Abrikosov vortices is calculated for superconductors with K < √2. For K > 1/√2 a λ-transition takes place at Hc1, changing into a first order transition as K → 1/√2.
