Syntheses and Crystal Structures of [Cu3{-(NSPh2)2N}2Cl2] and [Cu3{-(NSPh2)2N}2{(NSPh2)2N}2]Cl2
We have prepared the trinuclear complexes [Cu3{𝜇-(NSPh2)2N}2Cl2] (3) and [Cu3{𝜇-(NSPh2)2N}2{(NSPh2)2N}2]Cl2 (4), from the reaction of CuCl2 with {N(Ph2SN)(Ph2SNH)} (1) and determined their structures by X-ray crystallographic analysis. In both complexes, two monoanions 𝟏− chelate the Cu(II) center in square-planar geometry, whereas the terminal Cu(II) center is four-coordinate and a distorted tetrahedron.
