The author of the article sees the logic of implementing a comprehensive, in a theoretical and practical sense, task in a systematic approach: identifying reliable data on the state of legal competence of teachers-students of this course; using didactic tools that expand the space of the legal culture of the individual; extrapolating legal knowledge to the practice of the educational process. The need to address the study of the problem of improving the legal competence of teachers is caused by the fact that in the modern world the issue of legal education of teachers is relevant, because, as the experience of working at the Faculty of additional Education shows, teachers do not fully possess basic knowledge about the institutions and tools of the legal field, without knowing the content of legal norms. In the article, the author, based on the reliability of the facts of the above phenomenon, shows possible approaches to eliminating the noted shortcomings in the conditions of teaching a teacher at the Faculty of additional education.
