Tanned furs were irradiated with <sup>60</sup>Co-gamma radiations in the dose range of 5.0–114.0 kGy. The effect of radiation on the binding properties of various added substances like mineral tannins, fats, moisture and shrinkage temperature has been assessed by their comparison with the control samples.
