The solutions stored in a 37°C incubator for 48 h. Initial optical density and optical density of samples after 48 h taken using spectrophotometer. Result shown in average, bacterial growth in L. acidophilus was higher than S. mutans and even in higher xylitol concentration this difference preserved. 摘要

近年来,包括木糖醇在内的五碳糖被用作口腔保健品制备的补充剂。本研究的主要目的是测定不同木糖醇浓度处理后的变形链球菌和嗜酸乳杆菌的数量。菌液分别在2 M(30.43%)木糖醇原液中混合。该混合物为细菌生长提供了3-18%木糖醇的培养基。37℃培养箱中保存48 h。分光光度计取48 h后样品的初始光密度和光密度。结果表明,嗜酸乳杆菌的细菌生长平均高于变形链球菌,即使木糖醇浓度较高,这种差异也保持不变。本研究表明,木糖醇的加入能显著提高抗菌效果。
