Application of dexmedetomidine in different loading doses before laparoscopic cholecystectomy
Objective
To observe the effects of dexmedetomidine in different loading doses before laparoscopic cholecystectomy.
Methods
A total of 114 patients who underwent laparoscopic cholecystectomy in Jincheng People’s Hospital from April 2016 to December 2018 were selected. According to random number table method, selected patients were divided into group A, group B and group C, with 38 cases in each group. Patients in group A, B and C were given dexmedetomidine with loading doses of 0 (sodium chloride physiological solution), 0.30 μg/kg and 0.60 μg/kg at 10 min before operation, respectively. And then, application effects were analyzed and compared among three groups.
Results
The sedation score of group C was better than that of group A and group B (P<0.05). Compared with group A and group B, group C had less time for spontaneous breathing, awakening, extubation, post anesthesia care unit stay and directional force recovery, lower pain score and fewer adverse reactions (P<0.05).
Conclusions
Giving 0.60 μg/kg dexmedetomidine 10 min before laparoscopic cholecystectomy has remarkable sedative effects, by which patient’s mental state and recovery are good after anesthesia, and the prognosis could be effectively improved.
