Gullah Cuisine: Is It a Story of Cultural Appropriation or Cultural Appreciation?
As a chef, culinary historian, and resident of Charleston, South Carolina, USA, I have always been intrigued by the debate over the cultural appropriation , exploitation, and the appreciation of food from other cu l tures. It has always been important for me to know not only about food

Tourism, Culture & Communication is the longest established international refereed journal that is dedicated to the cultural dimensions of tourism. A reports section covers specific initiatives and projects, “hot topics,” work-in-progress, and critical reviews.
