Two aliphatic ILs of N-methyl-n-propylpiperidinium bis(trifluoromethane-sulfonyl)imide (PP13-TFSI) and N-methyl-n-butylpyrrolidinium bis(trifluoromethanesulfonyl)imide (P14-TFSI) were used. It was found that the two ILs had no cytotoxicity and enhanced productivity of paclitaxel and the related taxanes in the cell culture.
