Environmentalcampaignsplayamajorroleincreatingawarenessaboutenvironmentalissuesandits adverseeffectsonpeople.Thisarticleexaminesthecontentofenvironmentalcampaignsintraditional andsocialmedia.Italsointendstofindouttheimpactofthosecampaignsontheenvironmental awarenessofdifferentcross-culturalsectionsofpeople.ThearticleisdesignedbasedontheTheory ofPlannedBehaviouraccordingtowhichhumanactionisguidedbyanumberoffactors.Afew centralizedsocialmediacampaignstogetherwithselectedcampaignsonradio,printandtelevision were takenfor thestudy.Todeterminetheeffectivenessandimpactof thesecampaigns,content analysisandsurveyswereconducted.Thefindingsrevealedthatthecampaignshadmanypositive benefitsandanumberoffactorswereinfluencingthepromotionofenvironmentalawareness.The studytestedafewfactorsbasedoncommunicationtheoriesanddiscussionsweredrawn.
