A feature of the technology is the ability to build a radio network for transmitting messages over long distances under the condition of long-term battery operation. The main attention is paid to the study of the influence multipath propagation on the operation of the receiving device. For this purpose, the basic characteristics of the received signal, its frequency properties, the possibilities of spreading the spectrum, encoding and recovering the transmitted information, receiving a packet of individual pulse signals and the quality of packet processing as a whole, as well as the effect of multipath propagation, are studied. The technique for studying a receiver in a confined space with an estimate of the calculated and experimental data is proposed. The studies were carried out according to the \"point-to-point\" schemes.
