The present review majorly focuses on hallmarks of different types of psoriasis, evaluation of biomarkers to establish the severity and therapeutic response, and novel targeted therapies for the management of psoriasis. Potential herbal extracts and bioactive for the treatment of psoriasis are also highlighted here.
