DESAFIOS DA IMPLEMENTAÇÃO DA SUSTENTABILIDADE (AGENDA 2030) NO BRASIL:
The concept of sustainable development, as presented by the Brundtland Report in 1987, refers to two central categories: needs and limits. E-mail: ricardoStanziola@univali.br. RICARDO STANZIOLA VIEIRA vvvvvvvv Saberes da Amazônia | Porto Velho, vol. 04, no 09, Jul-Dez 2019, p. 239-257 240 within the moderate scope of Agenda 2030 / Sustainable Development Objectives ODS. It is in this context that challenges are introduced for the practical realization of sustainable development: human capital and financial capital. The concept of governance helps to understand this movement to increase the participation of civil society and other non-state actors in decision-making processes. Guided by the inductive and bibliographical / research documentary method, this article aims at analyzing how this process of governance (transnational and multi-stakeholder), now considered a principle in the implementation of the Agenda 2030, can encourage the emergence of leaderships and new forms of financing and promotion of practices for sustainability. As a result of the gap between the International Environmental and Development Agendas, with the latter predominating, the work, as a result, examines the extent to which the International Conferences on Financing for Development are a possibility to bring these two agendas closer together and to launch an Agenda for Global action with financial instruments to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals.
