The chitosan-chymopsin complex provides prolonged proteolytic action of the enzyme, restores microcirculation in wound walls, improves metabolic processes and relieves local inflammation. The chitosan-miramistin complex has a pronounced bactericidal effect against aerobic and anaerobic bacteria, gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, both in the form of monocultures and in the form of associations, including hospital strains with antibiotic resistance.
