GC Insights: Enhancing inclusive engagement with the geosciences through art–science collaborations
Abstract. Art–science partnerships offer valuable opportunities to enhance
inclusive engagement with research through collaborative creative practice.
Here, we present two case studies of interdisciplinary approaches to
contextualising environmental science for wider audiences. We synthesise
lessons learnt from these case studies and associated stakeholders to
provide advice for conducting successful art–science collaborations that
help to broaden interactions with environmental geoscience research.
