Since gynecological surgery involves the female pelvic cavity, transumbilical or transvaginal natural cavity robotic laparoscopic single site surgery presents many advantages and possibilities. However, R-LESS in gynecological surgery is at the early stage of development and the specific advantages are still controversial.
