Essential characteristics of threats and challenges to innovation and investment development in the system of regional economic security

In the article, the author, based on studying the problem of ensuring the economic security of the region, based on the consideration of innovative and investment aspects according to the proposed author's classification, substantiates the possibility of solving it at the level of individual subjects of the federation through their detailed study, systematization and assessment of the impact of their destructive consequences on the qualitative state of the economic systems as a whole.
