Analyzing the penal legislation, the author raises the question of the need to resolve the issue of compulsory treatment of convicts and persons who have served their sentences suffering from socially significant diseases. The author pays attention to the development of individual measures aimed at resocialization and social protection of women at the post-penitentiary stage.
