The dynamics of the main indicators of the standard of living of the population of Russia, the socio-economic structure estimated on the basis of the author's system of social standards of the standard of living of the population using the author's calculations of the subsistence minimum and the poverty level for 2021 according to the 2020 methodology (according to the consumer basket) are identified and analyzed. The results of the assessment of the poverty level in 2021, identified on the basis of the subsistence minimum according to the 2020 methodology, are presented and analyzed in the regional context. A comparative analysis of the results of two measurements of the subsistence minimum and the poverty level for 2021 is given — according to the new official regulatory and methodological scheme and the author's, performed according to the 2020 methodology.
