A study to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge regarding first aid management of selected conditions among elementary school teachers, Tirupati

The aim of the study to assess the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on first aid management of selected conditions among elementary school teachers at Tirupati. The objectives of the study were to assess the knowledge and knowledge on practices regarding first aid management of selected conditions among elementary school teachers, to elicit the effectiveness of structured teaching programme on knowledge and knowledge on practices regarding first aid management of selected conditions among elementary school teachers and to associate the relationship between selected demographic variables and knowledge and knowledge on practices regarding first aid management of selected conditions among elementary school teachers.A Pre- experimental design one group pre-test, post-test design was adopted. Hundred elementary school teachers were selected by using convenient sampling technique at Elementary schools, Tirupati. To assess the knowledge, knowledge on practices regarding first aid management of selected conditions by using the structured questionnaire. Structured teaching programme on first aid management of selected conditions were conducted. After seven days of the structured teaching programme the post-test were conducted by using the same pre-test questionnaire.
