Method Of Calculation Of Low-Frequency Electromagnetic Field Around 15 kV Transmission Lines
By the decision of the Government of Mongolia, work was initiated to electrify remote cities and rural areas and connect them to the central electricity supply. In this context, new methods and technologies have been introduced to transfer long-range, high-quality electricity and to save investment. This is evidenced by the introduction of a new voltage standard, which currently uses a voltage level of 15 kV in the distribution network. Since the pilot launch of 15 kV, 4,279 km of 15 kV transmission lines and 268 substations have been built and are in operation. Electromagnetic pollution is one type of environmental pollution. The main sources of electromagnetic pollution are power electrical equipment. We have developed a simple calculation methodology to determine electrical and magnetic field intensity at a particular point using basic parameters and geometric dimensions of power transmission lines and support. This article discusses the theoretical foundations of the developed methodology and mathematical apparatus.
