The resulting volume is a clear, effective and up-to-date review of the early historic archaeology of North-East Scotland making the latest research accessible to the enthusiastic amateur at an extremely modest cost (less than half the price it would cost a non-subscriber to access just one of these articles via the original journal!). It’s an attractively presented, easily accessible way in for anyone interested in Pictish archaeology.
