Surveys of complementary and alternative medicine usage: a review of general population trends and specific patient populations
There is now a substantial body of survey literature regarding various facets of the use of complementary and alternative medicine (CAM). The search strategy is provided for the 80 surveys and presented and summarized in 10 tables: 9 national, 4 regional, 27 cancer, 15 HIV/AIDS, 9 rheumatology, 4 neurological, 4 psychiatric, 8 other diseases.
