This research was conducted by using Descriptive Qualitative Research. The technique of analyzing data researcher used three steps, there are: 1) data reduction, 2) data display, 3) conclusion.. The findings from the data analysis shows that students gave positive perception of English online learning where students said that the process of learning English is easier with online learning and English online learning can foster students’ independent learning attitudes but students found problem in implementing online English learning because limited of internet quota during this pandemic, not everyone has enough money to buy an internet quota. Teacher also gave a positive perception of English online learning in case of the process of learning. English online learning is not effective because teacher teach virtually in one place and students follow learning from other computers in different places, it will make it difficult for students to accept and achieve learning objectives. 摘要

本研究旨在了解学生和教师对英语在线学习的看法。本研究采用描述性定性研究方法。研究人员分析数据的技术采用了三个步骤,分别是:1)数据还原,2)数据显示,3)结论。数据分析的结果显示,学生对英语在线学习的看法是积极的,学生表示在线学习英语的过程更容易,英语在线学习可以培养学生的自主学习态度,但由于疫情期间互联网配额有限,学生发现在线英语学习存在问题,不是每个人都有足够的钱购买互联网配额。在学习过程中,教师对英语在线学习也给予了积极的评价。英语在线学习效果不佳,因为教师在一个地方进行虚拟教学,学生从不同地方的其他计算机上学习,这将使学生难以接受和实现学习目标。因此,在他们看来,面对面的学习将会更有效,学习材料的传递由教师直接进行给学生,学生也更容易获得,从而达到预期的学习目标。
