To study the saline effect based on learning from Fukushima accident, the effect of seawater to the nuclear effluent system is interested to be studied. The intrusion of seawater to the strontium waste treatment could affect the quality of the treatment process, especially in ion exchange techniques. Ion exchanges technique was conducted on the stable isotope of strontium. The saline water was applied for ion exchange process. A Varian 240 fs Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer (AAS) machine was used to measuring the concentration in the liquid phase.
