Research has coalesced around a definition of workplace spirituality and demonstrated the importance of workplace spirituality and spiritual leadership for organizational outcomes; however, epistemological and measurement issues challenge the validity of these findings. In an effort to resolve some of these issues, this paper solidifies the conceptual basis of organization-level workplace spirituality by describing the spiritual nature of organizations.
