From Literature to Integrated Intelligent framework for Energy Management Success in Power Plants
The integration intelligent of critical success factors (CSFs) in energy management systems (EMs) plays a crucial role in power systems and quality to enhance smart Energy. The literature still suffers from a research gap represented in identifying CSFs for the success of EMs, so this study came to fill this gap. This article investigates the current challenges to success EMs in power plants, identifies the critical success factors (CSFs), and develops an intelligent framework that enables power plants to improve performance. The theoretical basis is founded on a systematic literature review to locate 159 out of 590 papers studied carefully to examine the CSFs of EMs architecture. The outcome of the literature combined with expert judgment to develop an intelligent model. Data are collected from a power plant in Iraq. To ensure the reliability model, various hypotheses are tested. The results confirm that the measurement model is acceptable and that the hypotheses are supported and significant. A case study demonstrates the strong relationship and significance between the integration intelligent of CSFs and the success of EMs. This research reveals perceptions of future research gaps on the academic level and the lack of consistency and balance in the current studies that indicate that the EMs strategy in production plants has not received sufficient attention and needs more investigations.
