Dependence of the NdSc/sub 3/(BO/sub 3/)/sub 4/ random laser output parameters on the particle size
In NdSc/sub 3/(BO/sub 3/)/sub 4/ random laser, we experimentally studied the dependence of the threshold, slope efficiency, and effective photon residence time on the size of powder particles. Optimum lasing conditions are found at medium particle sizes.
