A method of fiber optic cable path detection is proposed. By analyzing the shape change of fiber caused by external force, the phase of the interference signal is changed, and the external force is transformed into the corresponding data of LED display. In the experiment, we select the maximum value of the LED display intensity data on one side of the five points of a power cable to determine the specific location of the buried communication cable.
